Africana Studies

Spanning both African and African-American studies as well as the linkages between the two, perspectives in this list range from historical to sociological to legal and beyond. Africana Studies, soon to be revised in a fourth edition, is used by students throughout the country, as are the volumes in our history of Africa series. Also, very popular are the African-American Studies Reader and Race, Sport and the American Dream. And just launched this year, our African World Series, edited by Toyin Falola, covers a range of topics in the field of African and Black World studies.
